Whitney Houston actually has a little bit of a brain left, because she has filed for divorce from her fellow cokehead husband, Bobby Brown, according to a spokesperson for Ms. Houston. The whacky couple had been married for 14 years. It is not yet known if Whitney is seeking custody of their 13-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina. Representatives for Bobby Brown have declined comment.
Meredith Vieira had a great first day on the job. "Welcome to a very, very special morning," Matt Lauer said at the show's start. "I have not been more excited to come to work since the day after Bryant [Gumbel] announced he was leaving." Vieira said of her first day, "I feel like it's the first day of school and I'm sitting next to the cutest guy in the class," and"I'm going to be 'the broad' in broadcasting...I was so nervous last night. I'm so happy! I’m so excited."
A judge in California ordered producers of 'Rock Star: Supernova' to lose the name for its group Supernova, ruling that an established band already exists with the name.The original Supernova, only known for the tune"Chewbacca" in the flick, "Clerks," had previously filed for a preliminary ruling protecting the name.'Rockstar: Supernova' will name its winning vocalist tonight. The winner will record an album with Gilby Clarke, Jason Newsted and Tommy Lee. They will begin touring on New Year's Eve in Las Vegas.
Crocodile Hunter's memorial will be held at a Crocoseum. Terri Irwin, Steve's wife says in a statement, "I cannot see how a memorial service would work in any place other than the Crocoseum which he built here at the zoo and of which he was so proud." She also thanked the public for the "overwhelming outpouring of love, support and prayers for my family." Teri says she will not speak at the memorial as she is grieving too much to talk publicly about him but that her daughter will. The memorial will be broadcast across Australia and in the United States.
