Anna and Getty Images were paid cash by 'In Touch Magazine' and 'Entertainment Tonight/The Insider' for the last pics ever to be taken of Anna Nicole, Daniel Smith and his new baby sister.
'In Touch Magazine' paid $400,000 and 'Entertainment Tonight' $250,000 for exclusive print rights.
"There is an incredible amount of emotion attached to this story and the photos, and our story will be a tribute to Daniel's life as well as a celebration of it," an In Touch spokesman said.
"I'm told that Anna Nicole has vague plans to use a portion of the money for a Daniel Smith memorial and it wasn't clear yesterday what percentage of the proceeds Getty is taking as a commission," a New York Daily News columnist wrote.
Aren't MILLIONS of dollars enough for this woman? I guess I just don't understand how a half million dollars could possibly matter to you when you already have millions and you just lost your son. Is nothing sacred? Would she even sellout her own dead son? Let's hope not. We can only hope that she takes the money and uses it toward a charity, memorial or something besides her checkbook.
